Great Company, as long as you work at the right store

The job overall is easy, but you deal with a lot of people so that may be difficult for some. It is also very physically demanding, but the payoff in tips is well worth it

meh.

The work was fast paced. this is where you know if serving is for you. if you leave it only gets better. they throw you to the wolves to see if you can handle it.

Fun

Management was good, coworkers are helpful, busy, long shifts. The restaurant was in Colorado and the customers were great. I truly enjoyed working here.

fun work environment

I enjoyed working here, lots of great coworkers you can form real relationships with. fast paced environment, shifts go by quick and usually make good money.Some days can be much busier than expected

It was okay

It’s okay. Money can be good if you’re the only bartender at night but morning shifts are terrible during the week. I do like that the food runners also make your n/a drinks and buss you tables so I actually don’t mind tipping them out. They make your life so much easier.

It can be really great or really awful it all depends on location

The 3 for me does bring in a lot of people, but most of the time they are not the people you want to wait on. The presto does recommend 18,20,&22% tips on credit cards but 20% of $11 is nothing!! The new food runner thing has not been implemented the way the company promised us. Runners can be helpful but having to pay 4-5% of your sales to them can really affect your income especially on slower times. Bartenders pay 4% servers 5%. The money is taken out of our tips before we even see the money. You never know until tips are loaded on your card the next morning how much of your money you get. Overall not a bad place to work but don’t know if I would stay this long if I had it to do over

good money good managers

you make good money for chili’s but you have to work for it. Managers are there to help but sometimes it can be overwhelming. Most shifts are about 5-6 hours and you only get a break if you are working a double but that’s expected in the restaurant business.

Just ok

Alot of wonderful people, but crazy work environment. Loved it for a while but it just got tedious and repetitive. Management turned I to a joke and was left numb.

Don't waste your time

There is a lot of favoritism. Management intentionally gives poor hours. There is way too much drama for the workplace. Manager is sleeping with employees. It's gross.

Rewind your clock back to highschool drama

Employees get a away with gossip and bullying. Management team is childish and hypocritical. They run off their best employees. Most toxic work environment ever

Terrible management and pay was awful.

Too many employees messing around and inevitably messing up orders, being rude to customers, just not doing their work and it would all fall on the good employees to fix someone else’s mess. Very stressful.

High School antics in the adult world.

What is the best part of working at the company?As a Server, it was the repeat Customers, the regulars and those relationships as well as of the tips! Just because Management and I didn't necessarily Get Along or "See Eye to Eye." I really enjoyed serving my guests and providing a Warm Memorable Experience; I've always enjoyed and have been Excellent at Entertaining people. I worked there from January 2021 until 2023. It was a really good position as a server. I started as a Host, I am very good at Hosting, but Honestly, after like 4 or 5 months of it 5 days a week, it gets old. Then they get you busting tables for the servers, etc. etc. Or they Try To get you to do your job and then someone else's! And, you know how it goes... once you do it once, and then twice, the servers and runners and even some Managers would ask you to help with absolutely No incentives; No Tips for hosts. So, if you want me to help, I made sure to let t hem know they better cut me in some tips! What is the most stressful part about working at the company?Busy days with little or no staff. Also days when the special workers (below par, mediocre people with negative attitudes) would come in, drag-tail the whole shift whining about not making money but on their phone the whole shift or hiding in the bathroom or lollygagging; then at the end of the shift, they're surprised they just worked 5-6 hours and only made $20 or whatever!! Special! Also managers who shouldn't ever be managers; they don't know how to deal with customers, how to retain guests and keep them returning. Also they don't know -

Review

Very Disorganized but a great job for high school and college students. This place got me through a lot of rough moments but the chilis team always acted as a family

Good

Good place to work. Nice people and good structure. One thing I disliked was the customer feedback system in which guests could fill out a survey after they pay on the kiosk and rate their service. In theory it should beneficial, but management would use these metrics against employees, such as not allowing an employee to bartend because their scores were low.

Bad management- bad customers

Management never had their act together- asked to come in early multiple times with the promise of being let go early and ended up having to be the closing server- awful ticket times and every gust had a complaint

Decent place to work

I worked here for 10 years. It was a well run business. I had good managers. There were always customers coming in the door.Servers and bartenders are treated well.

Productive and fun place

Great restaurant to gain experience and friends. Great training system in place. One of the better restaurants to work for hands down. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience there.

Very fun

It was a amazing place to work at the start and that was mainly because of the co workers. It went downhill after 8 years but nothing bad just became another serving gig.

all around good place to work, friendly staff and caring managers. tip out is a little huge but if youre good youll still end up making a lot of money

Great restaurant chain to work for

Great staff comradery and good work life balance. Training process is very organized and helpful. Great benefits if you become a trainer. Management styles were not consistent, making it difficult to meet expectations at times.
