I enjoyed my regular customers and some of my co workers but when management allows the kitchen staff to run things it causes problems. I liked my set schedule.

Iffy

It was hard working at a place with inconsistent pay but the fast money was nice. Would minimize hours because people weren’t filling out surveys on kiosk so that sucked

great work environment

worked for chilis for over five years. really enjoyed my time there up until they started with the large tip share. while it is nice to have someone running your food and drinks you still don’t want to pay them 1/4 of what you make

Horrible Management

Overworked and under valued their staff. Almost always short staffed and the managers showed extreme favoritism. Managers would gossip about employees behind their back to OTHER employees.

Fun place to work

Fun place to work. Great experience with management and corporate. If it wasn’t for finishing school and getting a job in my dedicated field that took to many hours i would have stayed working part time.

What is the best part of working at the company?Well managed with respect to a work and life balance. What is the most stressful part about working at the company?We are always busy, so at the end of the night, there is a lot of side work. What is the work environment and culture like at the company?At Chili's, we have many different races, personalities, and fun to make work interesting. What is a typical day like for you at the company?A good work-out happens in a shift. It is fast paced, walking all over the restaurant constantly.

Quick lil money

As long as your scores are up you won’t have a bad time. Depending on mangers will make your night smooth or not but everyone is helpful and the job is easy to learn

Super fun and flexible schedule

I learned a lot working at Chilis. It unlocked different views on the service industry and work field. I met a lot of people of the community of Alvin. I made so many great connections.

Slow

The management is great. Very easy shifts but you definitely don’t get enough hours and the tips are trash. I worked there for two weeks and made less than $180 and total in tips. The tip out is ridiculous. I sometimes was tipping out the bartender and food runner more than I was making myself.

Good money

Good money and good workplace. Management is fine and honestly had no complaints. Customers make or break the shift but the money was always worth it in the end

It’s ok

The people you work with are nice. Very fast paced and stressful. Sometimes it feels like you get no help. Managers are nice overall. It can be a fun place to work if everything runs smooth.

It’s a job, you go In make money and leave. It’s a chilis what do you expect…………..nothing special. Run of the mill. Average. A job. Means to an end. .

Terrible

Horrible work environment. Nobody helps cover shifts. Always understaffed. Disrespectful management. Nasty kitchen environment. No food handlers card required

Good company

Chilis was a good company to work for. Learned alot and was able to switch between different positions.

Fun environment, strong and responsive management, ability to move up within the company

You’ll have lots of great regulars and make lots of $$$ while feeling like you’re just having fun! Management is good, they’re responsive and helpful if you communicate with them properly BEFORE things become a problem. Cut work is just cleaning your section and silverware, and I think as long as you don’t try to skimp on helping out and are a generally good coworker, you’re gonna have an awesome time. Loved being a chilihead!

Lots of tables=more money

Chilis prioritizes your customer surveys more than anythinb else. You must have 75% satisfaction with ALL TABLES or else you wont be serving anymore. They don’t understand that most customers write reviews when there is something wrong and they will not listen to you they think they know better than you. Besides the mangers the coworkers are nice and so are the tips

It's a difficult environment to work in, not a lot of incentive to stay.

I try to be a positive person but my day usually means repeating the same thing over and over and even when you try and hit every mark, you are penelized for things outside of your control. The employees who have been there longer are not necessarily supported to stay or even recognized for how they help keep others staying.

It was horrible management sucked she was extremely rude (heaven)

It was the worse job ever managers were horrible they went out side and smoked weed also the cooks were extremely rude a lot of drama I learned nothing the most enjoyable part was interacting with guests

Decent place if you are good with people

It really depends on how good you are with people and if you can make sales to make good tips, but if you know how to do that then you can make pretty good money sometimes.

Victoria location is terrible

No room for advancement, bad clientele, low money, management not held accountable for their actions, they seriously made me work the day after I fractured my face(couldn’t see out of one eye) and then fired me for not returning to work quick enough after getting a doctors note.
