In general, a typical day would consist of being responsible for a minimum of 4 turnaround flights (arrival plus departure) and a series of arrivals or departures depending on airport traffic. Through this job I learned how to co-ordinate with various services needed for flight preparations (catering, cleaning, passenger and luggage loading, refueling). The pressure, especially during the summer when I was mainly employed, was intense and the program of work would change constantly. My co-workers were friendly and approachable, which was also the nicest part of working there. The salary was very low, especially when considering the responsibilities I had to undertake.
