After a one month startup we had about 16 people and plenty of hours. Then after a couple of months our starter hired a conceited, narcissist as our manager and left to startup another business elsewhere. After about a month or so of him running it, when December rolled around he laid off half of our employees without any warning, we went from 16 to 8 then one or two weeks later he did it again and we went down to about 4 with fewer hours for those who remained. Two or three weeks passed like that, then he brought back a couple of employees with limited hours, but that’s pretty much how it remained for most everyone. He wanted everyone to be available 24/7, but would only give 20 hours a week. There was one person working there who was a huge kiss @ ss, he is also narcissistic and would receive special treatment from the manager at times. He is 26 years old and this was his first time having a job. After a few months the manager decided to promote someone so they would handle a lot of his “work” for him and be on call for him 24/7. He promoted the kiss @ ss, gave him 40 hours a week, but it was only a small pay raise. Since then lime continued to report that the Bloomington branch has yet to make a profit, they’ve been in the red since startup. The manager (who is the only one on salary) most weeks would forget to approve everyone’s time cards, so usually everyone else would get paid late, after someone reminded him about it.
Apologies for going off on a tangent, but I do not recommend working here, the people are unqualified, there is no promotions or moving up, at leastπερισσότερα... one of the employees will clock in then not do sh’t but still get paid, and the conceited manager will not listen to what you have to say. But will lay you off if he feels like it in the least.λιγότερα
This job has by far been the most flexible and beneficial job that I have ever been part of. The managerial staff has the workers best interests in mind because of the lack of customer communication for mechanic workers.
Management is the worst. Regional manager was actively using drugs on the job and when the worker bees complained the company fired everyone who was aware. They lie in investor meeting and are barely making a profit and they will not bat an eye before letting you go.
