Working at Perdue won't be bad if the line leaders and few supervisors didn't have nasty attitudes every day when you come to work and they rarely ever say anything positive about your performance. Who wants to come to work every day when they give you nasty attitudes every day.

Good job if you have no life or obligations outside of work.

Perdue Farms is solely worried about numbers & production. They do not care about your life outside of work and they do not work with you like they claim to. They pay pretty good but I guess that’s the reason they think they can work you like a dog and you don’t get to go home til they say you can.

Very productive and nice facility!

This is a great work environment, the employees and associates are mindful and helpful as team members should be the pay grade and rate is wonderful and benefits are excellent🥰

Productive

The staff was great. Overall a stable company to work for, never have to worry about being laid off. Plenty of overtime offered and weekly pay. Lost of opportunities

Good pay, good people, long, very long hours

Excellent place to learn the poultry business. Very demanding culture. Great people but management can be more concerned with productivity than the working environment for the employees.

Employees are not valued here.

Workday in my section starts just before 8 a.m. The job is simple, so, there isn't much of anything to learn, really. Management seems to be focused solely on production and, a lot of the time, inconsiderate of providing a more balanced workload, relying heavily on more productive elements to carry that load. The culture is mixed. If an employee has a strong work ethic, he/she is worked hard, and the less desirable workers are much more catered to. The hardest part of the job is making it past the seeming nonsense. Fairly, the majority seem dissatisfied and can't wait for clockout time. This is a constant revolving door job.

Good pay and good food safety Manager

I have good benefits, flexible hours and my boss is a great boss! He would support and guide his team in order to develop and get the best out of it!!!

It was a great job

I loved my position there. Got new supervisor and he wanted to change work schedule and it just fit my life schedule. If schedule wasn't getting changed i would still be there probably

Negative job culture

I was a maintenance mechanic at the Perry, GA cook plant and this was my first job at a manufacturing facility. The department is grossly under staffed and is not well managed. They really like to play "favorites". The schedule allows for plenty of time off and the benefits are good but the compensation is not sufficient or fair for the work preformed. Techs with the same skill level, education, and experience are not paid equally and there is no system place for advancement or pay raises. I worked nights for 4 years (2 shifts, 4 crews) and the work expectations are unrealistic and they won't train you very well. Proper maintenance is not being preformed .There is no accountability, structure or discipline to the maintenance organization. As time progressed, I saw the same issues continued to be ignored. It is a broken system that no one is trying to fix. The maintenance team overall is a group of hardworking well experienced guys but the leadership is lacking.

Great benefits for family great pay overall as for as trying to move up in a certain position it can be hard depending on where you’re hired and depending on your supervisor

Tha place has a total lack of management and communication to their employees and you’re expected to be working for 8+ hours with 1 break in between .

Not A Bad First Job

Good first driving job. You will get tons of experience, especially NYC driving if you drive out of Salisbury or Georgetown. Home time is hit or miss. Horrible experience of trying to get a hold of your manager

Productive and fun

I loved working with Perdue company and I learned that you can do ,and move up if u would love to be part of the Perdue team .I got in a few situations like not having away back and forth to work ,but wouldn't mind going back.

Dont bother unless you dont care about your life. Management is the worst, no quality of life and there is alot of favoritism. Overall grade? F hands down

This is a job for foreign people

It’s not that bad working for Predue they have good benefits they work with you if you have things to do with your family the only downside is that you don’t get pay the pay that you should for the work that they want to put out other than that Predue is all right place.. oh They do have a lot of favoritism so if you can kiss behind real good you were move up really fast

Love it here.. great work environment and love the hours.. the starting pay was good too… it’s a good place for second chances and people who are trying to rebuild

Low pay long hours

Worked at a green facility taken grain in from farmers. Equipment was about to fall apart. And you’re to service it and sign off on it.Left job before I was to get hurt.

It pays weekly.

This is a selective work environment there are people that work and are ridden harder by managment and then the ones who are slackers that are left alone. It is a easy job but it is made much harder due to NO team work, within or between departments. Everyone is always trying to put the work on someone else. This is not at all a good place to work. I was told I would get my agreed upon wages at my 90 days....now at 4+ months and no help... All employees were informed of raises about a month ago.... still have not gone into effect. If there were ANY jobs that could accommodate my schedule I would probably leave....today

Stinks, building is in desperate need of repair

Bathrooms are gross, the inside of the plant is shabby and disgusting. The lunch room where staff are expected to eat is not pleasant or an inviting place. Definitely needs a major make over on the interior.

Was a good place to work

My all on experience at the place was fine until I was fired for not calling in . But overall I liked being there but with the policies now in place I feel that I was fired for no reason at all and was given the boot on a first time basis that was not policy standards
