Environment with a lot of pressure
A typical day at job was to wait the unexpected! Because it is a job that has to do with passengers and aircrafts and many things can happen.
I learned a lot in this job from how to converse with a large crowd of people from different socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds, new technologies and trends in the airline industry, customer service, security procedures, psychological profiling, passport check, time management, team coordination and leadership.
The corporate management unfortunately was not efficient because due to lack of funds we were understaffed and sometimes we were lacking manager guidance.
We were a strong bonded team that worked together and made a lot of efforts to succeed in order to pull through the daily operations under any circumstances.
The hardest part of the job were to work and collaborate in a multicultural environment under a lot of pressure.
The most enjoyable part were the satisfaction of succeeding under these circumstances with your colleagues and the occasional "Thank you" and "You are doing a great job!" which were coming from the passengers.
Learned new technologies and systems.
