Hard to move up levels, as a kitchen manager the hours are long but the staff make it very rewarding. There is a lot of appreciation for the staff and they are celebrated for the work they do

The worst job I’ve ever had, never work here

Easy workplace

Serving at ccf is light work very well organized they don’t over work you with that many tables and you get an assigned busser. Super easy and very flexible schedule

Decent money

The money is good but there aren’t enough hours. The place has so much potential, however there is a major lack in communication which results in a stressful domino effect.

The only only way I could be a better player than you are now would have to play in a better team and be a good manager for you and I don’t think that

Fast pace environment, good money, team work, opportunity for advancements, very flexible

Challenging beneficial work environment, learned how to deal with complex issues regarding customer service and manipulative guest, helpful management, family culture, the hardest part of the job is walking at the end of your shift (feet hurts)!! The most enjoyable part of the job is being able to create a memorable experience for all of our guest.

Over all one of the best places I've worked

Some days were were harder then others but over all its a health place to work. I made close friends and then had some not so friendly servers but as far as management goes it was pretty darn great there in 1 per department and almost all of them are understanding, caring, knowledgeable and all but 1 made me feel comfortable. From Work situations to personal medical issues they were great. I had some serious medical stuff come up and had to drop all my shifts last min and my manager I spoke to about it help me get them all covered and told me whenever I'm healthy and able to come talk to the GM. When I did just that his exact words were "take your time, get better. Do not worry about your job it will be waiting for you whenever you can come back" that by itself makes me wish I didn't have to leave. Unfortunately all good things come with some flaws. The pay just wasn't very competitive Unfortunately and new hires were making more then even my 6 month and yearly raises. A amazing co-worker of mine, the "mom" of the bakery if you would she was making more then me but the same as a new hire who was due for a 6 month 50 cent raise. After 15 years she still made so little. We did make tips and split them base off of hours you work but when they started including bakers and not just to-go, and cashier it just still wasn't enough to pay the bills. Not saying the bakers didn't deserve those tips because they work harder then anyone there aside the Cooks. It just still wasn't enough especially when they cut hours after the holidays. I had no choice but to leave. Another great thing was -

Not for the faint of heart

Between the lies, intimidation, and other manipulation tactics used by management, I can safely say this is not a healthy work environment for anyone except their favorite employees and family members that work here. Specifically, the GM lied at Orientation by listing benefits that weren't real. She also has a habit of leading employees into a false sense of security in order to exploit and betray their trust later on. A typical day of work here consists of doing tasks that you are not trained or paid to do under the guise of "teamwork." A good day of work is a day where a manager doesn't talk to you because they almost never have anything nice to say. On the flipside, most of the employees are genuine people who care for one another like a big family.

Great place to work

I love how they promote you as fast as they can and the support is amazing and so flexible if you have school. The tips are great and love the culture. Managers are super funny and supportive.

i love my job. the management is amazing, my coworkers are amazing and everyone is genuinely understanding. i love the environment i work in. it is the only restaurant i have ever worked in so i have 0 sense of what busy is like at smaller places

Fast paced

Pros:Good money, always busy, hours usually always available and flexible Cons: Constantly keeping up with side work, late tables (close at 11 and would still seat at 11).

Steady tips and good management

I loved my time working here, managers were awesome and tips were great! Training was two weeks which helped me learn the extensive menu. Overall recommend!

Worst Management

Worst management I've ever experienced in the industry. They are extremely rude and unhelpful. They get new managers by promoting servers who have zero management experience.The customer base is also below average. You get a lot of customers who heavily modify the food and getting completely stiffed on a tip is more common there than any other place I've worked.

Productive and fun workplace

You expect being a hostess to be super easy, but since the cheesecake here in Albany is super busy, your gonna have to move and walk a lot, to the point where your feet hurt after a shift, but everyone there especially the managers are so chill and super nice, helpful, caring and understanding.

Good money

It was great working here for the money. Of course every job has its areas of improvement but overall it’s a great and supportive place to work. Very accommodating to your schedule but weekends were mandatory. Overstaffed.

Great place to work for. They truly care about their employees as well as their customers.

If you can get in keep the job. This is probably one of the best restaurants to work for. They truly care about their people and go out of their way to get someone whether it be work related out not.

Es interesante trabajar allá.

Okay but just okay.

Managers are ineffective because they play favorites with the employees and instead of telling the person responsible for their task, they include an overall "we need to do such and so" in a speech directed at everyone else who has their own responsibilities to take care of. They don't care about the "nurturing mind, spirit, body and mentality" they love to press during training class.
