Hard to move up levels, as a kitchen manager the hours are long but the staff make it very rewarding. There is a lot of appreciation for the staff and they are celebrated for the work they do

Great ben fits

I have worked for several location in 3 stated. In general this company is one of the best employers in the restaurant industry. Great benefits, move state to state, online schedules, ect. This location has a few toxic staff members (all veteran staff and mostly women) that make it more difficult than other locations I’ve worked at, but if you learn who to avoid it is ok. If there is another location near you maybe try that one first. The company it’s self is very good.

Best restaurant job ever had

Management was awesome in terms of helping servers, runners and bartenders work as a team. Workplace culture - everyone showed up ready to work and shift went smoothly, reasonable side work. Best restaurant job I’ve ever had.

Draining.

The job is a lot of work for not a lot of pay unless you’re a designated trainer. Some of the male management is just insufferable and I truly believe came from the opposite of heaven. The tip share is also incredibly high.

Buenos compañeros, muy mala paga.

La realidad es que trabajar ahí como busser es muy pesado, son muchas tareas y cosas que hacer, muchas más en comparación con otros empleos y el salario es muy muy bajo. Ganas como 50 dólares al día en promedio, y la hora se paga en 7 dólares. No te dan comidas ni Break

Terrible company!

Absolutely terrible company to work for. 10/10 would not recommend it. I’ve been there 2 years and I hate it. Actively looking for something better. The management is very narcissistic. They break you down despite how hard you work in hopes that you present even more effort. They expect you to continue to progress and learn new stations and do more work for absolutely no raises. They continue to give excuses like bad food costs or bad attitudes amongst the staff. They refuse to give raises.

Working here is what you make it, depending on the management . Typical day can be very hectic or very slow. You learn to focus on what’s important.

Awful

the worst restaurant i have ever had the misfortune of working at! Literally served a member of their corporate office who came in and explicitly told me that the location at south park consistently ranks in the bottom 10 of all cheesecakes across the country. The back of house is disgusting and you will constantly have to go tell the cooks to do their job because "they didn't feel like making your order" or "its lazy Monday's". don't bother working here because the pay is also trash and they literally will have someone who cant do math try to calculate your tip outs. Its wrong consistently.

Great company and culture to work for. But the management is a hit or miss. The GM is awful though and does play favorites until you quit or transfer

This place sucks

Soon as you walk in the building you’re bombarded with demands even though it’s backed up. If you’re doing dishes there is dishes all over the floor and is overwhelming. If you’re doing prep at times you’re there for 10 hours with no help. Working on the line as a cook is stressful. At times you open then get asked to close. One week you’ll get 40 hours and the next you’ll have 16 hours. At times you close them they expect you to open the next morning mind you at times you stay till 2AM working. If you call out sick you’ll get written up. They don’t care that you have a life or family outside of work.

Opportunities for growth

Can make a lot of money here if you put in the work enough to get scheduled good shifts/sections. Workplace culture can be extremely toxic from management to coworkers.

You’ll meet great coworkers

It’s great job for people who have just gotten out of school it’ll help build character quickly. However management isn’t the best at this location they don’t stay on top of raises and when people quit your availability is thrown out of the window. I wish whomever the best of luck at this location but really the only position with no problems is serving.

Good for entry level

Flexible schedule and can pick up shifts. Briefing at the beginning of shift. Great colleagues. Fifty percent off meals. Can pick up and give away shifts.

Fun if you don’t mind inconsistency

Very fast paced and there is training but they expect you to either know everything you learned (a MASSIVE menu) after your training or they might try to move you. Managing styles in back of house are suuuper inconsistent and your day will depend on who your lead is that day. Coworkers are all amazing and definitely overcompensating for this because they have to take on whatever extra needed and are overall pretty under appreciated. They deserve more. Ultimately could use more structure, consistency, and order but NOT in a micromanaging way like it is a third of the time.

While we do have a big menu, we never expect you to learn it all right off the bat! We pair you with a trainer so that when you are finished with onboarding, you still have someone by your side to guide you. We want to make sure your confident in what you're doing so you can build your best future.

Good tips but not many hours

I've been working for the company for 5 years, and I started to work as a server two years ago. You make good money on tips the only problem would be that managers don't give you a lot of hours. They might give you hours to make you stay but then they will take hours from you. And I can't survive on 20 or 15 hours a week. I talked to my managers and they told me that they were going to give me hours but they just pretend that they care and still don't give me good hours. Overall it's an OK place to work at. But hours really suck.

Good place for making money but awful work environment

Oooh the Cheesecake Factory. When I worked here before covid, everything was taken so seriously but it’s what held the company together as a whole. Towards the end of my time there, everything just started falling apart. Management picked favorites, unfair scheduling/sections, keeping tons of servers on when it’s clearly dead and no one’s coming in. I definitely made a lot of connections working here but I don’t think I could handle having to deal with the regulars wanting buckets of xtra sauce, modifying a dish to the extent where it’s not even a menu item anymore or even creating their own menu item and we just bowed down to it. I could go on but all I have to say is good money can be made here with the right intentions. You must push through all the BS do you’re job to the very best of your ability and don’t let you’re emotions get in the way of people talking about you whether it’s a guest or employee. When they say it’s a factory it truly is.

Best quality food with best service and hospitality. it’s a interesting place where you can celebrate your special occasion

Honestly I am so proud and grateful to serve in this restaurant where the management is perfectly maintained, where the guests satisfaction is always in high level.It gets hard during busy shifts but we manage everything as we corporate with each other. Though we have different nationalities, we are always treated with same respect..And I believe it’s a great platform where you can experience and learn a lot of things.

Flexible Job, Consistent Money, Lackluster Management

Job was flexible and you're able to make consistent money as a server. Highs and lows aren't as extreme as other serving gigs in my experience. Lots of favoritism in management which was also lackluster. Location started with many senior staff members (3-5+ years), but nearly all have left at the time of this review.

Quite enjoy actually, people in there are nice and willing to talk to you. Working processing are easy once you learnt and just following the step to go
